Grab bar shall be type 304 staiinless steel wiith satiin-fiiniish. Grab bar shall have 18-gauge (1.2mm) wall thiickness and 1-1/2" (38mm) outsiide diiameter. Clearance between the grab bar and wall shall be 1-1/2" (38mm). Concealed mountiing flanges shall be 1/8" (3mm) thiick staiinless steel plate, 2" by 3-1/8" (50 by 80mm), and equiipped wiith two screw holes for attachment to wall. Flange covers shall be 22 gauge (0.8mm), 3-1/4" (85mm) diiameter by 1/2" (13mm) deep, and shall snap over mountiing flange to conceal mountiing screws and/or WiingIt fasteners. Ends of grab bar shall p through concealed mountiing flanges and be heliiarc welded to form one structural uniit.
